Spring Break is not always full of sunshine, sand, and waves. Sometimes, you might find yourself sitting on your couch, looking at beach pictures from literally everyone!
Don’t fret! There are plenty of things to do, that are probably right under your fingertips. You can always call an old friend, take some time for yourself, or go on a spontaneous road trip! Here are five ideas to make your break a less boring.
You don’t need a pricey gym membership to workout. In fact, you don’t need any equipment really. There are apps that guide you through multiple workouts that only require you! Going on a run, biking, or just doing some ab workouts will make you feel refreshed, and could also possibly boost your self-confidence!
2. Read some books
I know reading truly isn’t for everyone, but I love to read! During the week, I never have time to read for my enjoyment, as I’m usually stuck with some boring, pointless book for English. During breaks, I find myself reading more books during the break than I have in the past few months! Take some time, grab a good read, and relax!
3. Have a photoshoot
Grab a friend and a camera, take a walk or hop in the car, and snap some cute pictures. My favorite thing to do is edit pictures on vsco (you can see how I edit my pictures on my last blog post). Photoshoots are always fun and the results are amazing!
4. Spring Cleaning
cleaning is most definitely not my favorite thing, but having a messy room is the worst thing ever! During the week, my room is always a constant mess because I never have time to clean it. Just put on some jams, and clean away!
5. Catch up on your favorite TV shows
I still watch Netflix during the week, but I only watch it when I’m procrastinating (90% of the time). During breaks, I find myself clicking ‘next episode’ numerous times, and losing count of how many episodes I watched in a day.
