For school, we don’t get a full supply list during the summer. All my teachers will eventually give me a list of exactly what they need after school starts.
I made a trip to Target, and I decided just to get the absolute basics that I know I will be needing.
1. File Dividers
Throughout my freshmen year, I got a whole ton of papers. So to keep me organized this year, I have invested in some really cute file dividers. I will be putting important notes, tests, and other things that I don’t want to keep in my binder, but I will be needing in the future.
2. A folder
We all know a plain folder is a necessity.
3. Two Binders
Last year, I found out that it was easier for me to use two binders instead of one because some classes needed more than one divider.
4. Binder Dividers
When I was looking for file dividers, I was just going to go for the regular multi-color ones. But as I was walking through, I saw marble ones!!! These dividers don’t have pockets, so I won’t be tempted to just shove all my papers in there.
5. Paper Mate InkJoy Gel pens
I always prefer writing with gel pens because my handwriting always turns out a lot neater.
6. Pencil Pouch
Instead of going for a cute pencil pouch, I decided to just get a generic one that would be able to fit all my pens, pencils, and highlighters.
7. 5 subject notebook
Instead of carrying around a different notebook for each class, I just decided that a five subject notebook should help.
These are a lifesaver when it comes to reading books and analyzing them. Sometimes, you’ll be given a classroom copy of a book and you won’t be able to write in them, or you are trying to analyze a textbook.
9. A backpack
For my school, we don’t use lockers. We are required to carry around everything we will be needing for the day, which is really not good on my back and shoulders. I need a comfortable backpack that won’t be too bulky because the hallways can get tight sometimes.
Thank you guys so much for reading! I can’t believe I start school in three days!
